Your electronic part of the Homework Assignments and Reading Quizzes go through Mastering Astronomy, which comes with your book.

Activities, Homeworks and their solutions are posted on the Blackboard Site when available/graded.

CPS Remote

We will use the CPS-Remote Pad, or our "Star Trek Communicator", for making the class interactive. You will need the "Star Trek Communicator" during every class
- to answer 2 or 3 questions on the assigned Reading
- to engage in the discussion of the Interactive Class Questions
- to engage in the discussion on some of the Activity questions
- to provide feedback to me on certain issues as they come up
You need to purchase a CPS-Remote at the local bookstores (includes your Enrollment Code).
Then Enroll your Remote through your Blackboard Course on the CPS Website, as is explained in the attachment of the Syllabus. (Is available as two downloadable PDF Files on a UNH Help website; QT#1, 2 on the page in this link)

We will start using the "Star Trek Communicator" the second week of class.

Interested in geometric models?

For icosohedral models of the planets in our solar system (not to scale, but very pretty to look at), visit the Views of the Solar System site.

Also check out SCI's contributions to the Solar System Model in Pasadena, CA, a scale replica of our solar system that spans many kilometers.
